Notes
The snow finally inspired me to get out there again yesterday. I could see it when I took this shot, but I have to say I'm amazed at how little contrast a snowy scene can give you. This is in a field just down the street from my house. There was a hawk that perched in a tree about 30 feet away from me, just exactly long enough for me to start reaching for my camera. I did get a few fantastically bad shots of it circling above me, but me lens was nowhere near long enough to really get it. There was also an eagle circling the outer edges of the field, but no luck on that one either. My guess is they'll be back though.
It's off to Denver this afternoon. I'm hoping to get some night shots of the mountains sometime this week.
